Welcome, I'm Jane Gardner
Why I’m Doing an AI Talk Show and Trainings — Especially at My Age
People ask why I’m diving into AI now — doing a talk show, running trainings — when most people my age are thinking about winding down.
The answer’s simple: I’m not done building.
After decades in the corporate world, I know what it’s like to build someone else’s business. I’ve sat in meetings, led teams, hit targets that made other people rich. Then one day, that chapter closed. No warning. No parade. Just a quiet, “We’re done here.”
I had a choice: settle into a safe, small life — or get curious again. I chose curiosity.
That curiosity led me to AI.
I’m not here to play tech guru or pretend I have it all figured out. I’m here because I see the shift happening — and I refuse to sit on the sidelines. AI isn’t just for tech bros and startups. It’s a tool. One that, if used well, can help people like us — entrepreneurs, professionals, and anyone with a brain and work ethic — build faster, think sharper, and create leverage we’ve never had before.
I’m doing the AI Talk Show because the noise online is unbearable. Everyone’s either hyping AI like it’s magic or fearmongering like it’s the apocalypse. Neither helps real people make real decisions. My show cuts through that. We talk about how to actually use AI in business, in life, without needing a PhD or a Silicon Valley zip code.
I’m running trainings because I’ve lived long enough to know that if you don’t keep learning, you’re done. The market doesn’t care how old you are, how experienced you are, or what you used to know. It cares whether you can adapt.
And I can.
The truth is, I’m not doing this because I need a hobby. I’m doing it because I want to build revenue streams that don’t rely on someone else giving me permission. I want to show other professionals — especially those who think it’s “too late” — that this is still your game to play if you’re willing to suit up.
There’s one more reason I’m doing this: legacy. Not the kind where they put your name on a building. The kind where your kids and grandkids see that you didn’t quit. That you kept learning. That you showed them how to stay relevant by being willing to start over.
So no, I’m not too old for this. I’m right on time.
If you’re watching the AI gold rush from the sidelines thinking it’s not for you — think again. I’m here to prove that you can start fresh, learn fast, and build smart at any age.
And I’m just getting started.
